THE WAR PHOTOGRAPHERS, a documentary film commissioned by the Annenberg Space for Photography will debut with the exhibit, WAR/PHOTOGRAPHY: Images of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath, set to open on March 23rd. Arclight Productions has been commissioned to produce the original documentary short that will be featured as part of this unprecedented exhibit. The exhibit will open free to the public in Los Angeles on March 23, 2013 and run through June 2, 2013. The film will be shown in vivid detail on two 14' by 7' screens in 4K resolution in the Digital Gallery, which is central to the architecture of the Photography Space and the exhibit experience. Filmworkers Grades “Revenge of the Great Camera Shootout”
Event produced by Zacuto and Kessler includes side-by-side comparisons of cameras made by Sony, Arri, Alexa, Canon and others.
Filmworkers recently took part in a unique event testing the performance of the current generation of digital motion picture cameras, from leading edge camera systems used to shoot Hollywood blockbusters to the humble iPhone. The Revenge of the Great Camera Shootout was produced by camera dealer Zacuto and crane manufacturer Kessler Cranes. Like similar events produced by Zacuto in the past, RGCSO features side-by-side tests of camera systems made by Sony, Arri, Red, Canon, Panasonic and Apple. Filmworkers provided color grading services necessary to make direct comparisons between the output of the cameras. Grading was performed by colorist Jimmy Cardenas with additional grading by colorist Brian “Crash” Carlucci.
