Andersson Technologies LLC will be previewing the SynthEyes 2011 release of its versatile and affordable camera tracking application at SIGGRAPH Booth #1017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, July 27-29. The new release is highlighted by set reconstruction features. With the new features, visual effects artists can create 3-D models of the set on which shots were originally recorded, as an aid to adding new effects such as CGI creatures, or enhancing the appearance of the set, for example extending it or enhancing the art direction. Compositing artists can use the new features to build layered 3-D environments as well.
