(IBC 2005, AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - 9th September 2005) Today Blackmagic Design announced DeckLink 5.2 for software for Microsoft Windows, which enables over 40 uncompressed 8 and 10 bit real time effects and transitions in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5®
New Features in DeckLink 5.2 for Windows
This software update fully enables built in effects rendering in Premiere Pro, with over 40 effects and transitions for a full suite tools for real time editing. Premiere Pro editors can combine the extremely high quality of uncompressed 10 bit SDI video on DeckLink cards with real time effects to produce the highest end work for broadcast television and commercial work.
DeckLink 5.2 for Windows also adds support for the new DeckLink Extreme PCI Express model DeckLink card announced at IBC 2005.
Also included with this software update are several enhancements to DeckLink DirectShow drivers to better support OEM developers who use DeckLink cards in their own solutions. Enhancements include a VITC pin addition to the video capture filter which provides VITC decoded from the video if VITC is present, and an updated SDK with improved samples which address the most common questions received from the DeckLink developer community.
