(Cambria, CA -- October 13, 2005) CreativeCow.net, the leading media professionals community on the Net, today announced that Apple's iTunes Store has listed the new CreativeCow.net podcast as a main promotional feature alongside Discovery Channel Radio and other top-ranked podcasts. Listed right at the top of the iTunes interface, the promotion is designed to let iTunes users know of the CreativeCow.net podcast, a show that has been in the iTunes Top 100 since episode one was released nearly a month ago. The show has three episodes to date, with the fourth show set for official release on Friday, October 14th.

"We are grateful to the Apple iTunes team for their recognition of our new podcast," said CreativeCow.net's Director of Marketing, Ron Lindeboom. "It came as quite a surprise to get up this morning and check my email only to find one of our members writing to tell us of the new placement at the top of the iTunes interface. We appreciate the kindness of the Apple team in recognizing our podcast as being of the level of quality that qualifies for the kind of featured placement that they have given us. We were honored to be named to the 'New & Notable' podcast section last week but this major push, right there at the top of the iTunes interface, came as a complete surprise."

Show host, Franklin McMahon, said: "I am really impressed to see how quickly the creative community has embraced this new show. There are many technology-related podcasts but this show is forging a new sub-category as it's a creative technology show with the emphasis on creative. People seem to really enjoy the show and to see the outcome develop into both its growth and ranking, along with the recognition being afforded it by companies like Odeo.com and Apple, we couldn't be more pleased with its development."

The placement in the iTunes interface is shown below:

Shows have included business tips, marketing solutions, creative tips, technology reports, interviews with key industry leaders, big news stories and many other features that have made up the CreativeCow.net podcast to date.
