The Vegas Level-One Certification Program is a two-day, hands-on training course open to individuals looking to enhance their knowledge of Sony Media Software's award-winning nonlinear professional video and audio editing platform.

Now, for the first time, we're offering official certification classes that allow our customers to provide a point of differentiation to their clients," said Dave Chaimson, vice president of marketing, Sony Media Software. "Conducted by Sony's own professional training staff, the two-day intensive course covers what every certified user will need know in order to acquire official credentials from Sony certifying their expertise."
The Vegas Level-One Certification Program covers the basics of the Vegas software platform, along with an introduction to some of the more advanced capabilities of the program. Attendees who pass the certification testing, conducted on the final day of training, receive a free copy of the 166-page guide to Vegas software on which the training is based; a free upgrade to the next version upon launch, a free version of The Seminar Series: Vegas 6 and DVD Architect 3 training DVDs, along with an official Sony designation for use as a promotional tool for themselves or their company.
The Vegas Level-One Certification Program normally costs $899, but Sony Media Software is offering a special NAB rate of $499. Seats are limited and early sign-up is encouraged.
