(Munich: May 2, 2006) IRIDAS, an industry leader in uncompressed playback and non-destructive color grading technologies, will be at FMX/06 in Stuttgart, May 3 - 6, 2006. The Munich-based software developer will present a full line-up of products, including the new high-end FrameCycler DI review application, and a preview of SpeedGrade HD, a new color correction application.
FrameCycler DI plays any industry standard file format at HD, 2K and higher resolutions. Conform capabilities allow the application to import and modify Edit Decision Lists. FrameCycler DI offers primary color grading capabilities and 3D LUT support for all standard display calibration systems. FrameCycler DI also includes ReviewLink, a new technology from IRIDAS allowing for interactive review sessions from multiple locations.
SpeedGrade HD offers an enhanced GUI and provides non-destructive primary and secondary color grading in real-time using QuickTime and AVI video formats. The application saves all color, mask, and EDL information as metadata which can be applied to original footage for final rendering, or transferred to SpeedGrade DI. SpeedGrade HD will be offered on the Mac and PC platforms.
IRIDAS will be at the PNY booth at FMX/06 at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart, Germany, May 3 - 6, 2006. The IRIDAS applications will run on server and storage hardware provided by Schneider Digital with an NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 SDI graphics adapter from PNY.
