News : Digital Anarchy Releases Chaos Stock Volume of San Francisco Timelapse Footage


20 Royalty-free, High-Definition Timelapse Images of Iconic California City

(San Francisco, CA -- December 6, 2006) Digital Anarchy, a leading provider of cost-effective special effects software for Adobe®, Apple® and Discreet® products, today announced their latest volume of Chaos Stock royalty-free footage. This three-DVD set features beautiful time-lapse footage of San Francisco, California, all shot in High Definition.

The footage is saved as QuickTime files and are for use with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere Pro, and other editing/compositing packages that supports QuickTime.

The Chaos Time-lapse series is a new direction for Chaos Stock and a very cool addition to its ground-breaking stock backgrounds. This first volume, San Francisco Timelapse, provides exquisite footage of various city locations available in either High Definition or Standard Definition video. The footage shows San Francisco and all her icons, including the Transamerica Pyramid, Golden Gate Bridge, City Hall, and the San Francisco Bay. Each scene captures roughly a two-hour sunset period into a 30-second clip.

There are 20 time-lapse clips over the three volumes. Each clip is available in both Standard Definition and High Definition at these specifications:
  • 1920 x 1080, 30 fps, progressive
  • 720 x 486, 29.97 fps, progressive (NTSC)
  • 720 x 576, 25 fps, progressive (PAL)

Pricing and Availability
Chaos Stock SF Timelapse is regularly priced at US $799. The three-DVD volume is available now for US $599 until January 10, 2007. Sample footage and a free giveaway are available at the newly launched website, http://www.chaosstock.com

Technical Specs
Chaos Stock pre-rendered QuickTime movies can be used in any editing or effects application that supports QuickTime, including After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and AutoDesk's Combustion. The footage works on all variants of Mac OS X and Windows 98ME and higher. NOTE: Unlike other Chaos Stock volumes, SF Timelapse does not ship with After Effects project files.
