(January 9, 2007) The Visual Effects Society has announced its awards nominations with two nods going to teams from Zoic Studios for their contributions to the episodic television series Battlestar Galactica.

Zoic Studios Team: Steve Graves, Jose Perez, Mark Shimer, Chris Zapara
Outstanding Compositing in a Broadcast Program, Commercial or Music Video
Battlestar Galactica Ep 218 "Resurrection Ship, Part 2"
Zoic Studios Team: Lane Jolly, Don Kim, Matt Smith, Chris Zapara
The VES Awards will be held on Sunday, February 11th at the Kodak Grand Ballroom.
