(Myrtle Creek, Ore. -- Jan. 17, 2007) Artbeats, the industry's leading provider of royalty-free stock footage, today announced that its footage was used by Victory Church for Resonation, an annual music project produced for CD and DVD based on a live recording from the church's annual two-night music event.
Victory Church used a variety of clips from several Artbeats titles, including Water Effects 1; Cloud Fly-Throughs 1; Incarcerated; Digital Edge and Code Rush, to create stunning effects that were featured onstage throughout the Resonation performance.
"Artbeats' footage saved our team time and money, and allowed us to add impressive high-end effects to the Resonation production," says Matthew Munger, creative director for Victory Church. "Filming underwater effects would have been an impossible task for our in-house team and the quality of Artbeats' footage is much better than what we could have captured in the field."
Victory Church used Water Effects footage in conjunction with animated color background sequences to give the water and air bubbles a dynamic color shifting effect that emulates a colorful chemical reaction. These images were then placed on a wall containing nine 50" Panasonic plasma screens that formed the center piece of the stage design. Many clips from Digital Edge and Code Rush collections were also used in a video introduction that appeared in all the main IMAG projectors during the VMusic's live performance. These clips and several others from the Lumaform collection were also used to create visual effects for a 12' by 6½' plasma wall that stood directly behind the lead singers. In addition, the Victory Church production team also employed several clips from the Incarcerated collection as establishing shots of a prison exterior for This is the Shout, one of the music videos that premiered and was performed live at Resonation.
Resonation will be available on CD and DVD in Feb. 2007 and may be purchased directly from Victory Church at www.victorychurch.tv.
