(Daly City, CA -- March 13, 2007) Digidesign is proud to announce that its Pro Tools 7.2 software was recently granted the Cinema Audio Society (C.A.S.) prestigious, Best New Post Production Technology Award at the organization's 43rd annual awards banquet.
The annual Cinema Audio Society Awards banquet, held last month at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel, bestows awards for outstanding achievements in sound mixing and sound production technologies for television and feature films. Pro Tools 7.2 software shared a nomination in the same category with its sister product, the Digidesign® ICON integrated console, along with the AMS Neve Gemini console and Cedar Audio DNS 2000 dialog noise suppressor.
