(Minneapolis, Minnesota--May 15, 2008) Imaginary Forces Director of Experience Design Tali Krakowsky will be presenting at the Flashbelt Conference in Minneapolis, MN taking place from June 8th - 11th.
The event, established in 2004, brings together new media designers, developers and enthusiasts.
Titled "The Science & Fiction of Experience Design," Krakowsky's presentation will provide an introduction to Experience Design, and how it impacts design thinking and branding.
Fiction meets science when emerging media, interactive content, cinematic storytelling and architecture come together to create Experience Design. Re-imagining both media content and screens, Experience Design challenges traditional forms of content creation and expands the art of the digital into the realm of the physical. In her session, Krakowsky will make these seemingly abstract ideas very real and demonstrate that much of the present and future of design and architecture resides in this new discipline.
Recently, Krakowsky has also presented at numerous conferences and events including AIGA/Los Angeles' "Pro Sessions: Design Remixed," and FITC Toronto, Hollywood, and Amsterdam. She will next participate in the FMX Conference in Stuttgart and Singularity Conference, the first online digital conference.
The excellent speaker line-up for the Flashbelt Conference 2008 includes Erik Natzke, Jared Tarbell, Robert Hodgin (The Barbarian Group), Joshua Hirsch (Big Spaceship), Craig Swann, Mario Klingemann, Robert Reinhardt, Jeremy Thorp, and GMUNK, among many others. The 30+ sessions will cover multimedia design & development, and how to create engaging experiences through various disciplines such as digital art, motion graphics and animation, rich Internet applications, and Experience Design.
