The contest involves the use of any version of LightWave 3D®, including the free trial edition (www.newtek.com/lightwave/lwtrial/), to showcase contestants’ best work with respect to three categories: modeling, animation, and rendering.
“LightWave® users are an extremely talented bunch and we know that they will relish rising to our challenge for this rapid-fire contest,” said Jay Roth, President 3D Division, NewTek, Inc. “I'm really looking forward to seeing some mind-blowing entries.”
Prizes will be awarded to the top four finalists with the grand prize winner receiving a prize package valued at over $2,500US.
