(London--July 3, 2008) th1ng, the mixed media and production company, has teamed up with the Exposure Gallery in London to exhibit a collection of contemporary street art from a th1ng duo of Ewen Stenhouse and Josh Sutterby. The exhibit starts 3 July and remains open to public for the duration of one month.
The work, a showcase of Josh and Ewen's personal portfolio, is a collection of framed works on paper and canvases. The exhibit is the duo’s first major showcase in “broad daylight”, following their wins at the underground illustrator battles held by Secret Wars, London edition.
The artists employed acrylic and spray paint for use on canvas while working through a combination of acrylic, pencil, and pen work on paper. The work is versatile and maintains a wide range of ever evolving styles.
“This is a rare showing of street art from two talented young directors with seriously strong underground reputations. We are pleased for this exhibition to take place and are confident this work will not go unnoticed in London’s creative circles”, said Dominic Buttimore, th1ng’s executive producer.
