(San Diego, California--August 4, 2008) Alioscopy® USA, a leader in 3D display technologies, today announced it will introduce its new, state-of-the-art, 3DHD-40 autostereoscopic (no glasses required) 3D LCD display technology at SIGGRAPH 2008—the leading international conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive techniques, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, August 11 – 14, 2008.
The 3DHD-40, developed and manufactured by Alioscopy, features a highly specialized lenticular lens that boasts unmatched quality, clarity and depth. The system also supports real-time capabilities that enable viewers to interact with content for a truly immersive experience. Artists can easily create 3D content with leading 3D software applications such as Autodesk® 3ds Max®, Autodesk® Maya®, Softimage® XSI®, MAXON CINEMA 4D and NewTek Lightwave 3D® and render it out for display on the 3DHD-40. Alioscopy’s 3D display technology was recently honored at InfoComm 2008 with Insight Media’s “Best Buzz” award—a top honor bestowed each year to those products or technologies that were new and exciting and generated the most “buzz” with analysts, press and conference attendees.
