(Coral Springs, Florida--October 17, 2008) da Vinci Systems LLC, today announced management changes in the company.
Bill Robertson, formerly da Vinci's general manager, has been appointed to a strategic marketing role at da Vinci's parent company. Mark Malinoski was appointed as the acting general manager for da Vinci Systems. Additionally, Valynda Brooks was appointed as da Vinci's engineering manager, replacing David Johnson, who is no longer with the company.
Malinoski has served as a consultant with both da Vinci and its parent company since 2007, assisting with strategic planning and product life cycle management. Malinoski will serve as the interim general manager while da Vinci conducts a search for a permanent manager. Malinoski brings 28 years of experience with high-technology manufacturing companies. Over the past 10 years, Malinoski has served as vice president and general manager of several businesses of the size and scale of da Vinci Systems.
Brooks will head da Vinci's engineering and development in Coral Springs and Singapore. Brooks brings more than 30 years of hardware and software project and product development and implementation experience with telecommunications and high-technology companies. She joined da Vinci in early 2008 as a project manager across da Vinci's product lines: Resolve®, Impresario™, Revival™, 2K Plus™, and Splice™.
