Manufacturer To Also Highlight Low Light EBU Compliant Digital Broadcast Model, High-Res Large Screen Monitors, And Life-Lengthening TCP/IP Software

(Chester, New Jersey--October 17, 2008) TAMUZ Broadcast Co. / TAMUZ USA, the official North and South American divisions of TAMUZ GmbH - a leading German designer and manufacturer of high-quality single or multiple screen LCD monitors, has announced plans to introduce the US East Coast to its Class 1, high-end Imperial Eagle monitor along with its broadcast quality Black Milan - a hybrid multi-view monitor available in configurations of either 4 or 16 inputs at HD World.

TAMUZ USA will also highlight a new low light version of its Gray Owl monitor, the only monitor line to meet the EBU standard for blacks at 80 Candela. In addition, the Company will exhibit the 47” HD Sparrowhawk and its MRC TCP/IP software that extends the life of monitors by 50%.

MONITORS TO BE DISPLAYED

Imperial Eagle
TAMUZ’s Class 1, full HD broadcast video monitor, the 24” and 32” Imperial Eagle, presents an ideal solution for color critical applications is the film and HDTV production and post-production arenas. Available in 24” and 32”, the monitors are capable of displaying 1080i, 1080p or 720p HD video information on a Full HD resolution display at its best natively pixel to pixel. The monitors are equipped with multiple SD/HD-SDI 4:2:2, HD-DL or 3G 4:4:4, analog composite and HD component video plus VGA or DVI-D inputs. The unique Imperial Eagle backlight system allows 100% reproduction of the EBU color space at a nominal brightness of 80 Candela (CRT Light Level/Black-Blacks (EBU Recommended Spec.)) for simply the lowest level blacks shipping in the industry, period.

Black Milan
Hot on the heels of the successful NAB 08 launch of its Black Milan cost-effective and compact hybrid MultiView 4+1 input monitor, the Company is demonstrating a 16+1 input version at HD World. The Black Milan series combines the advantages of a flat screen monitor with a MultiViewer in one compact system. Inputs are universal for SD/HD-SDI or CCVS input as QLM 1xxW. Both the 4 input and 16 input versions feature four configurable layout setups and are equipped with an additional SD/HD-SDI input for direct view of digital video signals not processed by the MultiViewer in 1:1 HD quality. All Black Milan monitors come with Windows software as standard to configure the layout via TCP/IP networks.

Gray Owl
Also at show will be the Gray Owl SL digital broadcast monitor - the only monitor of its class with 80 Candela (CRT Light Level/Black-Blacks) to meet the EBU standard for blacks. The Gray Owl series was designed to offer an attractively priced digital broadcast monitor solution for SD and HD video applications. The series monitors feature three input capabilities for SD/HD-SDI or SD-SDI and VGA with analog inputs available as an option. Monitors range from 8" to 27" and are 19” rack mountable with low depth and minimum height. The SL (Studio Line) version has LCD panels appropriate for studio applications and adapted backlight systems. A TCP/IP Ethernet port is included for remote installations.

Sparrowhawk
The Sparrowhawk is a high-resolution large screen color LCD monitor suitable for MultiView applications in control rooms or mobile units. The Sparrowhawk series was designed as an universal digital monitor perfect for displaying the output of MultiView systems. To achieve the highest image quality possible, state-of-the-art TFT panels are used with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The slim edge design allows multi screen monitor walls to be built. Digital versatile input (DVI) technology prevents degradation.

MRC
TAMUZ BROADCAST Monitors will also demonstrate its unique TCP/IP life-lengthening software. MRC allows up to 255 monitors to shut down simultaneously with one push of a computer key therefore minimizing screen usage. Monitors can experience up to 50% more life and screen cleaning can be facilitated in down hours.
