(Fort Lee, New Jersey--March 5, 2009) FOR-A Corporation of America will host an open house event from Noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, and from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009, at its new East Coast office in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Since it opened in November, the new office has provided easy access to FOR-A’s base of customers in the New York metropolitan area and throughout the Northeastern United States.
During the two-day open house, FOR-A will showcase several new and established products, providing hands-on access to customers and dealers who might not be able to attend the 2009 NAB Show in Las Vegas later in the month.
“We understand that with today’s tighter budgets, a trip to the NAB Show is not possible for some of our customers and dealers this year,” said Susumu Hotta, President of FOR-A Corporation of America. “Even so, they must stay current on products and technologies. Our open house event will provide our Northeast customers with local access to exciting demonstrations and provide a preview of our product introductions for NAB.”
Seven new products that will make their U.S. debut at NAB will be on display during the open house, including two new switchers. The HVS-5400 is the 4 M/E model of
FOR-A’s flagship digital video switcher that provides native support of 3Gbps 1080p signals. The HVS-300HS HD/SD Portable Video Switcher sets the standard for compact, multi-format switchers with 1 M/E and a built-in multi-viewer.
Newly introduced multi-viewers and quad viewers include the MV-1610HS and MV-410HS, respectively, as well as FOR-A’s new MBP-100CK HD/SD Chroma Keyer, a compact, standalone unit designed for ease of use and high quality. The new FVW-500HS Video Writer, ideal for illustrating sports color commentary or weather and news programs, will be showcased as well. Plus, FOR-A will demonstrate the UFM-30DCC “3G-Ready” Modular Digital Color Corrector and UFM-30FS HD/SD Frame Synchronizer.
