(Sunnyvale, California--April 20, 2009) Omneon Inc. and Pixel Power today announced a partnership to integrate more complete solutions for their customers. The two companies' collaboration enables delivery of best-of-breed platforms that leverage leading broadcast technologies to their fullest capabilities while maintaining the high level of performance typical of solutions from a single vendor.

The first product of the partnership between Omneon and Pixel Power was announced March 26, 2009. The new MediaDeck™ GX is a complete channel-playout solution that combines Omneon's proven video server playout with the world-class graphics technology that serves as the foundation for Pixel Power's Clarity product line. Also featuring advanced audio processing and the flexibility to operate under the control of the user's preferred automation system, the MediaDeck GX system offers rich branding and master control functionality, making it easier and more affordable for broadcasters to launch new services or to make incremental additions to their existing channel lineup.
