(Hayward, California--April 20, 2009) Wohler Technologies Inc. today announced the release of the RMT range of single-screen 15-inch, 17-inch, and 20-inch LCD monitors. The new RMT range builds on the success of Wohler's RM range of multi-screen monitors, offering the same industry-leading performance and popular feature set, along with dual inputs, a waveform display, eight channels of audio bar graph metering, and built-in speakers.
"Mobile production trucks, news and transmission control rooms, and duplication and post-production facilities all require compact, convenient monitoring solutions with flexible inputs. The first monitors in our RMT product range offer that and more at a very competitive price point," said Kim Templeman-Holmes, vice president of global sales and marketing at Wohler. "In addition to supplying high-resolution images and integrated audio, these slim single-screen solutions provide valuable on-screen data that simplify monitoring by making critical audio and video parameters available at a glance."
Designed as fully inclusive solutions, RMT monitors support high-resolution imaging with built-in NTSC and PAL autosensing. Each screen can display eight channels of PPM over VU, audio level meters, IMD, safe areas, frame marks, cropping, switchable aspect ratios, and built-in color bars.
The four RMT monitors introduced today feature flexible inputs capable of handling composite/S-video/component (HD/SD) and VGA/DVI-D/HDMI video. The 15-inch RMT-150-SD and 17-inch RMT-170-SD feature two SD-SDI inputs and an SD-SDI active loop-through. The 17-inch RMT-170-HD and 20-inch RMT-200-HD feature two auto-sensing HD/SD-SDI inputs with an HD/SD-SDI active loop-through output. All settings are accessible from front-panel controls and the systems' intuitive on-screen menu.
Each of the new RMT single-screen LCD monitors from Wohler will be available as a rack-mount or table-mount system or can be used with a standard VESA mount.
