ArtiSAN is a direct descendant of the high-end systems found in leading production environments. The entry-level ArtiSAN solution offers a full range of features for audio and video post-production on a smaller scale.

The ArtiSAN small workgroup storage solution provides the secure, centralized shared streaming environment required for collaborative audio and video post-production work. The system is ideally suited to audio post work in feature film sound design, editing, and mixing; recording studios; television entertainment production; and video game production. Integrated with leading digital audio workstations including Pro Tools, Nuendo, and Pryamix, ArtiSAN supports up to six workstations with 1000-track playback, 96-track record/dub capacity, and usable storage options of up to 32TB.
For video users, the ArtiSAN solution supports up to six workstations equipped with Apple Final Cut Pro, Avid, or Sony Vegas editors, with up to 16 streams of 100-Mb ingest and 32 streams of 100-Mb playback. Configured for video applications, ArtiSAN is available with up to 32TB of usable space. Straightforward, GUI-based job provisioning simplifies allocation of storage across multiple projects, whether for audio or video post-production.
Each ArtiSAN system offers cross-platform support for Mac OS X and Windows XP or Vista. To ensure reliability, ArtiSAN features RAID 6 protection, dual active-active controllers, multi-pathing, two hot spare HDDs, and dual power supply units. Automatic call-home repair and SAN Solutions' standard three-year support maximize system uptime and productivity.
