(Burlington, Massachusetts--July 30, 2009) At IBC 2009 Signiant®, Inc., the leading developer of content distribution management solutions, will be demonstrating how the latest version of its Content Distribution Management software (CDM) enables both businesses and individuals to exchange large amounts of content quickly and easy, while maintaining enterprise level security.
CDM v8.2 includes significant enhancements particularly within the Media Exchange tool, enabling organizations to set up secure relationships with third party companies to facilitate free exchange of content. Another key feature, Media Exchange Publish Point, brings the power of Signiant to individuals such as independent film-makers to collaborate with others around the globe on an ad-hoc basis, securely and affordably. CDM v8.2 also features advanced B2B management capabilities which will enable multiple corporations to link their media automation processes.
In addition Signiant will announce several new members of SIPP, the Signiant Integration Product Program, at IBC 2009. SIPP allows third party technology providers to easily and cost-effectively integrate components such as watermarking systems, transcoders and quality control applications into the open architecture of Signiant’s CDM. SIPP has already attracted members including Anystream, Rhozet, STRATACACHE and Interra, and Signiant continues to partner with some of the best technology providers to enable efficient collaboration across businesses.
Senior Signiant executives will be in attendance on booth 741-4 in the IPTV Zone during the show for one-on-one meetings with customers, partners and prospects. Meetings can be scheduled in advance at: http://www.signiant.com/ibc .
