(Dallas, Texas--October 21, 2009) This month production company Directorz celebrates its 20th anniversary. The company celebrated the monumentus occasion with a party for 400 friends and family including clients, crew and directors.
Founded by Director Jeff Bednarz and CFO Tammie Klienmann as the eponymous Jeff Bednarz Film Inc. the company evolved to Directorz in 1999. Today, Directorz features the talents of Bednarz, an accomplished dialogue and real people director, as well as internationally known photographer/director Stewart Cohen, tabletop director Tom Ryan, and narrative & comedy director David Wild.
"It's an honor that we've reached this milestone, especially in an industry where longevity isn't typical," says Bednarz. "Part of our ability to grow and evolve over the years comes from an appreciation for change and a focus on telling stories in any format. At our core, we are a conduit and a creative service for our clients."
The company's directors have worked with national and international clients including Busch Beer, Michelob, American Airlines, Bank of America, Chrysler, Ford, Subaru, Molson, Doritos, Heineken and Samsung. The company and its directors have collaborated with agencies throughout the US including BBDO, Crispin Porter Bogusky, McCann-Erickson, Publicis, DDB, Goodby Silverstein, TM Advertising and GSD&M on integrated and brand-enhancing campaigns for TV, theatrical and online audiences.
CFO Tammie Kleinmann, EP Jeremy Besser and EP John Gilliland form the management triumvirate at Directorz, making sure that client service and creativity are linked on every project.
