(Los Angeles CA, Tucson AZ--September 28, 2011) The Tucson Film & Music Festival (TFMF) is thrilled to announce the complete entertainment line-up for the seventh annual event which heats up Oct. 6-10, 2011.

The festival’s 2011 films include an unprecedented documentary feature line up including Better Than Something: Jay Reatard, Bloodied But Unbowed, Kumaré, Barbershop Punk, Color Me Obsessed: A film about The Replacements, Blood, Sweat + Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century and The Anatomy of Vince Guaraldi. Narrative features include the Southwest Premiere of the indie comedy Pleasant People and the Arizona Premiere of Take Me Home directed by and starring Sam Jaeger of NBC’s Parenthood. Short films, music videos and live music performances are also part of the exciting program slate.

The festival’s new primary film venue is the Century 20 El Con Theater located at 3601 E. Broadway Road in central Tucson, AZ. Special screening events will also be held at The Loft Cinema, The Rialto Theatre and The Hut.

TFMF’s new festival headquarters is Café Passé, 415 N. 4th Avenue in downtown Tucson, where there will be festival programs, promotional film items, all-access badges for sale and one can enjoy a tasty beverage.

TFMF is proud to welcome returning sponsors Cox Communications and Hanson Film Institute at the University of Arizona. Additional festival partners include the Tucson Film Office, PWKY Design, IFP Phoenix and Hype.

TFMF celebrates filmmaking and music at an annual, multi-day event in Tucson, Arizona, showcasing music-related films and international music artists, with a special nod to films and filmmakers with a Southwest connection.

Now in its seventh year, the Tucson Film & Music Festival has screened over 150 films since its inception in 2005. With attendance of over four thousand filmgoers, TFMF has showcased several Arizona and World Premiere screenings including Academy Award® winner “God Of Love” (dir. Luke Matheny), “Anvil: The Story of Anvil” (dir. Sacha Gervasi), “Adventures of Power” (dir. Ari Gold), “Hell on Wheels” (dir. Bob Ray), “Scott Walker: 30 Century Man” (dir.
