(MARLOW, UK--September 1, 2015) TSL Products, the leading broadcast equipment manufacturer, has formalized its technology partnership with Emotion Systems, enabling TSL Products to bring Phinix file-based audio solutions to a global market. This latest deal underlines TSL Products’ ongoing commitment to find the best third party solutions that complement its own product line and solve customers’ real world broadcast challenges.

“As the leading supplier of audio loudness monitoring products it was a natural step to broaden our portfolio with a file-based audio management solution, and Emotion’s Engine product – which we market under the Phinix name - fits our vision perfectly,” said Chris Exelby, Managing Director, TSL Products. “We have an established direct global sales network and reputation that helps bring products to new markets. We work closely with our partners’ development teams to provide invaluable customer feedback that helps our partners refine their products and develop a strong and appropriate roadmap. We’re delighted to partner with Emotion Systems to bring this innovative suite of audio solutions to market.”

"What people used to do with tape, they still want to do with files,” said MC Patel, CEO, Emotion Systems. “We’re completely immersed in the audio processing that’s needed for file-based workflows, for loudness, Dolby E (encode, decode), track mapping and more. We do audio for video engineers. TSL Products has excellent knowledge of the audio environment and the global reach that can bring our solutions to a wider audience. This is a truly complementary partnership that will help us to build our business, and we look forward to extending our partnership in the future.”

Phinix will be available for demonstration at IBC 2015 on TSL Products’ stand 10.B41 with several newly added features including AD mix, Channel Replace, Channel Extract and Examine.
