(MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - April 12, 2005) Artbeats, the industry’s leading provider of unique, high quality royalty-free stock footage, today announced that it will debut more than a dozen new High Definition (HD) international lifestyle and establishment collections at next week’s National Association of Broadcasters Convention (NAB). Derived from seven film shoots in twelve countries, Artbeats’ newest titles feature compelling and authentic footage of lifestyles, portraits, landmarks, religions and crowd shots in Central America, the Andes, East Africa, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, and represent one of the most extensive global HD projects ever completed by a stock footage company.
Artbeats will premier these stunning new titles on the company’s 60-foot video wall containing 12 HD plasma monitors at NAB 2005, booth SL1219.
“We recognized an increased demand for visuals of people from the global community – lifestyles in third world countries, unique people groups and varied cultures – and decided to orchestrate this shoot,” said Phil Bates, Artbeats’ president. “This was the most demanding and time consuming project Artbeats has ever completed. We are very proud of the results and look forward to launching this amazing new footage during NAB.”
All the footage was shot on F900/3 CineAlta HD cameras at 29.97fps progressive and will be added to Artbeats’ Lifestyles and Establishments category. Some of these new titles include: The Holy Land, People of Central America, People of East Africa, People of the Andes, People of the Middle East, People of the South Pacific, Faces of the World 1 and Children of the World 1.
