(San Francisco, CA, April 19, 2005) Red Giant Software today announced that Sony Pictures Digital Media Software and Service division, has selected Magic Bullet Movie Looks™ HD50 for bundling with its new Vegas+DVD Production Suite which includes Vegas 6, DVD Architect 3, and a professional Dolby Digital AC-3 encoder.


The bundle includes 50 custom-designed Movie Looks presets that allow editors to apply a Hollywood-style finish to their digital video projects—adding dramatic moods easily and affordably. Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD50 supports any resolution and can be used on DV, HDV, or uncompressed projects in Sony Vegas 6.

Based on The Orphanage’s award-winning Magic Bullet™ technology, Movie Looks HD50 allows users to alter the shading, contrast, and tints of scenes using presets that are modeled on stylized treatments common in major motion picture productions. With an easily accessible and intuitive menu, users can apply a range of effects such as adding glows, making a scene more distant or inviting, or simply apply rich tints to make their projects stand out.

Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD50 is included free with the Vegas+DVD Production Suite from Sony Pictures Digital. Vegas software users can upgrade to Magic Bullet Editors, which adds the ability to create and save unique Look presets and 14 filters that accurately mimic old film damage including grain, scratches, vignettes, and funk for $299 USD.
