(07 September 2005 -- UK) Imagineer Systems, the UK-based developer of the innovative mokey, monet and mofex visual effects tools, reports today that sales of its monet tracking and compositing software has exceeded all expectations since its launch 12 months ago. With more than 100 systems sold to a surprisingly diverse group of facilities ranging from editing to visual effects facilities, broadcasters to feature film facilities, monet has proven its broad application within the market.

Recent sales include CIS Hollywood in Los Angeles, Ascent Media, Rushes and The Picture Production Company in London. A number of broadcasters, including Turner Studios and CNN Post opted for the solution after seeing how it could reduce post production time and cost. VCC, Das Werk and ACHT Frankfurt in Germany immediately saw the potential for delivering higher quality results to their customers.

"We now have customers spanning from Avid Xpress Pro editors through to compositors on Autodesk Discreet Inferno. Few other systems can claim such broad appeal in the market place," says Allan Jaenicke, Managing Director of Imagineer Systems. "monet offers a much better way of handling a variety of shots, based on its focussed, easy-to-use user interface and unique tracking and compositing technology. This is why it is proving to be an invaluable companion to all professional editing and compositing systems."

Imagineer Systems will be exhibiting the latest releases of monet, mokey and mofex at IBC 2005, stand 7.431.
