(Montreal, Canada - September 27, 2005) Matrox Video Products Group today announced that additional locations have been added to the Matrox Axio North America Road Tour.

Presented in collaboration with local Matrox authorized dealers in Canada and the United States, these seminars give project studio owners, post facilities, broadcasters, and corporate video departments the opportunity to learn how they can easily and cost-effectively make the transition to HD. Attendees experience the power of no-render HD and SD finishing in compressed and uncompressed formats, inspire their creativity with superior realtime color correction tools and advanced realtime effects, and discover how Matrox Axio and the Adobe Video Collection provide the most productive editing workflow. New Matrox Axio features, including realtime native HDV and DVCPRO HD editing, realtime HD editing on Axio SD, and realtime broadcast-quality HD to SD downscaling, will be demonstrated.

Larry Sherwood, a professional editor and industry expert, will be demonstrating Matrox Axio at many of the event's locations. Adobe representatives will also be present in some cities to give an in-depth look at the Adobe Video Collection.
