Soho Editors Training, in association with the DVD Association, are holding a free training event for DVD and other industry professionals. This is a one-off, seminar style event, taking place at an exclusive central London venue on Thursday 10th November.
Speakers include Will Timbers, Director of Pink Pigeon; Chris Duke, European Software Product manager of Apple; Senior SET Trainer Jamie McAllister; and DVDA Board member Bob Auger. Larry Applegate of Rivergate Software is flying in from California to look at post-authoring solutions, and Andy Evans of The Pavement will discuss Kit, People and Processes, with particular emphasis on his experience of UMD. Andy Dowell from Dolby and Rob Kelly from Strongroom will also be attending to discuss multi-channel audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD.
Whether you're a DVD author or facility manager, an editor who wants to incorporate DVD into your workflow, or a programme maker who wants to learn more about DVD as a revenue stream, you will benefit from this free event.
