(Location Expo/Booth # 207—Santa Monica, CA – April 16, 2007) TurnKey|Louisiana LLC (TK|LA) and Fuji Film announced today that TK|LA will become an authorized reseller and distributor of Fuji Film products in the State of Louisiana.
By creating the partnership, Fuji Film products sold by TurnKey|Louisiana will now qualify under the Louisiana-spend provisions of the tax credit regulations, allowing producers to reclaim up to 25% of their total raw stock expenses.
“Bernie and I are thrilled to add Fuji Film to our consortium,” said Gary M. Strangis, Co-Founder of TK|LA: “Having worked with Fuji Film at both David E. Kelley Productions and also at Spelling Productions, as well as on the CBS pilot “Shark,” we know that their product is top drawer and highly respected. We hope to provide Fuji with a gateway into the Louisiana market where other filmmakers can experience a quality product and an incredibly competitive price. The tax credit only sweetens the deal.”
“We are excited at the opportunity that this new relationship will bring to cinematographers working in Louisiana,” said Mark Murphy, vice president and general manager of Fujifilm’s Motion Picture Products Division. “TurnKey|Louisiana is an important partner for Fujifilm and this move demonstrates their appreciation for the technical merits of Fujifilm’s motion picture film products.”
