The HD Commander meets the requirement of a highperformance, low-cost storage solution. HD Commander’s performance mode (RAID 0), support high-speed data transfers of 250MB/sec through an eSATA port, allowing it to easily handle 10 bit/8 bit uncompressed HD, 10 bit/8bit uncompressed SD, DVCPRO HD and DV and Apple ProRes 422 video formats. The HD Commander features 5 SATA hot swappable drives with Port Multiplier, a one cable design that allows multiple drives to be connected to SATA controller via a single eSATA cable.

The HD Commander is bundled with a PCIe or PCIx controller that is expandable to connect up to 20 SATA drives. Compatible with Windows XP, Apple Mac OSX, Final Cut Studio and Premiere Pro. With the longest warranty in the industry, 42 months and impressive performance and protection at an attractive price as low as $1,988 (US/MSRP) for 1.25 Terabytes.
