(BEIJING, August 24, 2007) Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has won three awards for its outstanding products and integrated broadcast solutions at the Beijing International Radio, Film and Television Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV).
Harris was awarded a BIRTV2007 Award for Outstanding Product for three of its newest products -- the Atlas™ transmitter for China's new DMB-T (Digital Multimedia Broadcast-Terrestrial) standard, the CENTRIO™ multi-image processor and the Videotek® QuiC™ media analysis server.
The Atlas transmitter for China's new DMB-T standard won in the category of radio and television transmission and delivery. The CENTRIO multiviewer and the QuiC media analysis server were both winners in the category of video production and broadcast.
"Harris offers a next-generation portfolio that supports content throughout the customer's entire workflow application chain," said Tim Thorsteinson, president of Harris Broadcast Communications.
