(New York City, New York--October 23, 2007) NewTek’s TriCaster PRO portable live production device will power the live stream of a worldwide stunt on Thursday, October 25, on Fox.com to promote Day 7, or the seventh season, of the network’s popular “24” program.
The multi-platform event, to be co-produced by Fox Broadcasting Company and Twentieth Century Fox TV International and Mobile divisions, will take place in Times Square in New York City and be Web cast to coincide with FOX Sports’ coverage of Major League Baseball’s World Series coverage of Game 2. It will start at 11:00 am EST and conclude after the 1:00 pm EST premiere of the 24 Day 7 trailer during the game. The event will feature many appearances from the show’s cast members.
The Web portion of the event will be produced by Pizazz Productions of Beaumont, Texas, and will utilize two TriCaster PRO portable production studios, six Sony D50 cameras and a hard DSL line for Internet connectivity, which will be backed up with a wireless network.
