(Santa Monica, CA and New York--December 5, 2007) Shane Harris has been promoted to Colorist at Company 3. The announcement was made this morning by Company 3 Co-Founder/Colorist, Stefan Sonnenfeld.
"Shane has been with Company 3 for six years now," comments Sonnenfeld, "and has worked very closely with me. He has a truly versatile skill set as a Colorist, and a great attitude. Clients feel very comfortable with him. We knew it was the right time to give him this opportunity, so that he could really come into his own. We believe Shane has all the attributes to be a great Colorist."
Shane Harris studied Advertising at Arizona State University before beginning his career with Post Logic. Prior to joining Company 3 in 2002, he spent three years at Digital Magic, where he worked on long-form, television series. Recently, Harris has found a niche for himself as a Colorist with top commercial Directors and DPs.
"Company 3 is the best place to be," concludes Harris. "All the top artists are here, and clients literally travel around the world to bring their projects here. I am so grateful for this opportunity to have my own bay, and to build my own client roster. I'm also excited about our new Commercial DI process, which enables us to color correct a commercial shot by shot. It really opens up the creative possibilities."
