According to Michael Tigar, the first 10 years of the company's history was about building not only an internal infrastructure of highly skilled talent and high-end technology, but also an external infrastructure with an extremely diverse client base in the feature film, television, commercial, broadcast design, videogame, interactive and specialty venue arenas. Featuring an international team of highly skilled 3D and 2D animators and visual effects artists, as well as up-to-the-minute technology, Tigar Hare also includes its own motion capture stage unique for a smaller studio in today's marketplace.
Remaining true to its roots as a high-end service company, Tigar Hare Studios is celebrating its 10th year in business by expanding into two, new growth areas. David Hare notes the company's expansion into the very creative "cinema-quality, real-time cinematics market." "In the past, videogames didn't have the fidelity for cinematic animation," comments Hare. "Now with the technological advancements of videogame consoles such as X-Box and PlayStation 3 to deliver high-quality audio and video -- mixed with our creative abilities, we will be able to take game assets and create real-time cinematics."
Additionally, the company will be taking a foray into producing its own original content via computer-generated feature films, concludes Michael Tigar. "We have always been fueled by a passion for storytelling. It's a natural evolution for us to embark on creating our own stories, yet we are committed to simultaneously remaining committed to our loyal and diverse client base and their projects."
