(NAB Las Vegas, Nevada--April 20, 2009) ARRI Lighting is unveiling the sequel to the awardwinning TRUE BLUE Tungsten fixtures with the new line of TRUE BLUE DAYLIGHT lampheads.
As the next generation for daylight illumination, this pioneering series consists of four new products: the D5, the D12, the D25, and the D40. The TRUE BLUE DAYLIGHTs are HMI® Fresnel units comprising of 575W, 1200W, 2500W and 4000W HMI® lamps. These fixtures have lower weight than their predecessors without sacrificing robustness and high light output. The TRUE BLUE DAYLIGHT line is offered with the same mechanical and optical improvements as their acclaimed tungsten brethren:
- Improved Disc Brake locking mechanism for heavy, front-loaded accessories like Chimeras and color scrollers.
- Sliding Stirrup for adjusting center of gravity to balance the lamphead.
- ARRI´s Cross Cooling system enables the lamphead to be focused downward to 90°.
- TRUE BLUE Barndoors designed for strength, rigidity and flexibility.
- IP23, TÜV GS and cNRTL certificates.
Units will be available Summer 2009 for International versions and Fall 2009 for American versions from ARRI Inc.
