(Amsterdam-IBC, The Netherlands--September 11, 2009) Autoscript, the world's leading teleprompting company and a Vitec Group brand, announced today that it will play a role in the IBC Production Village in Hall 9, as an integral part of IBC TV News’ production and also as part of the training schedule.
A 12” Autoscript TFT LED unit will be used by IBC TV News for two live news bulletins to be broadcast each day from the Production Village, and will also be used for the main show. There will also be an additional Autoscript unit attached to a Vinten Vision 250 pan and tilt head in the IBC Production Village, which will be used as part of Vinten’s product demonstrations and will allow visitors to get hands-on experience of the system.
“Autoscript has supported IBC TV News for many years,” said Sue Robinson, Producer, IBC TV News. “It’s a great tool for our requirements as it is intuitive and we know we can rely on it, and we always have excellent support from the Autoscript team.”
“We are very pleased to have an Autoscript industry-standard teleprompting tool unit available in the Production Village, to give visitors an opportunity to experience a system they’ll use in the real world,” said Saima Parviez, Audience Marketing Manager, IBC.
