(London, UK--May 21, 2010) Glassworks, producers of creative content for award-winning commercials, film, promos and digital material, have become the latest high-end post house in London to adopt the Revolution non-linear, data grading solution from Pandora.

Glassworks have invested in a fully loaded Revolution capable of handling the new 4.5k and 5k data image sizes just breaking onto the market. Featuring Red Rocket acceleration and Pandora's built-in hardware resizer, giving crystal clear images, Revolution is fast becoming the colour corrector of choice for high end commercials houses across London.

Colorist Ben Rogers commented 'This system has revolutionised our pipeline, it is fast clean and effective, and engineered for great client understanding and response. Pandora's colour correction has always been particularily clean, this tradition has continued with the Revolutions modern approach to colour grading and data management.'

The merits of the system are not confined to front of house either, in the machine room a single 1U rack performs the image manipulation completely in real time from meta-data grade lists. A single folder of raw scans can have multiple looks applied via the metadata in real-time, negating the need for the 'history copies' that other systems rely so heavily upon, consequently this system does not need the huge amounts of storage associated with pc based solutions. Valuable rack space and power consumption are in turn minimised with similar reductions to the air conditioning requirements – all making for a greener solution!

Will Isaac, Technical Director, appreciates the simplicity of the machine room configuration commenting 'the installation was very straight forward and set-ups are easy to configure and maintain. Pandora's maintenance agreements are great value for money and most issues can be easily resolved by them remotely logging into and taking control of the system".

Glassworks recent work includes campaigns for Waitrose, Ford, Crocks vision express and Guinness. For more information on Glassworks please visit
