(Santa Monica, California--December 30, 2010) Join Apogee Electronics at the 2011 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center for a public presentation of its new flagship interface, Symphony I/O. From January 13-16, 2011, Apogee will be highlighting the many impressive features Symphony I/O has to offer, including next-generation sound quality, Apple Logic and Pro Tools compatibility and total I/O flexibility, as indicated by its newest module release: 16 Analog IN+ 16 AES OUT and 16 Analog OUT+ 16 AES IN.
Based on early customer feedback, Apogee was inspired to expand the module offering to include 16 channel AES options. Addressing such requests, Apogee has created these two modules to work similarly to the 16 Analog Optical Cards, but for AES digital I/O.
Live demonstrations will be scheduled to also showcase just how easy it is to switch between Logic and Pro Tools HD sessions using Symphony I/O’s Audio Interface Mode (AIM) capability. Grammy winning engineers Nathan Chapman, Miles Walker, and Ryan Freeland, as well as Grammy nominees Young Guru and Dragan “Dirty South” Roganovic, are just a few of many high profile professionals from classical to hip-hop who are attesting to Symphony I/O’s impressive capabilities, convenient modular design and vastly improved performance.
Demo and interactive stations will also include Apogee’s ONE, a unique USB microphone and interface for an all-in-one studio on the go, the amazing go-to professional interface, Duet, and Apogee’s guitar interface and MIDI foot controller, GiO. Now with updated compatibility with Garageband '11, which features more amps and stomp boxes, automation support for MIDI expression pedals connected to GiO as well as support for using GiO with GarageBand's learn to play functionality, GiO remains a sound investment for musicians who needs a live and studio setup that will grow with their needs.
