Sound One’s Dominick Tavella Receives BAFTA Nomination for “Black Swan”

(Hollywood, California--January 18, 2011) Re-recording Mixer Dominick Tavella of CSS Studios’ Sound One in New York has been nominated for Best Achievement in Sound in the 2011 British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.

Tavella was nominated for his work on Black Swan. He shares the nomination with Sound Designer/Re-Recording Mixer Craig Henighan and Production Mixer Ken Ishii. Tavella won a BAFTA Award in 2002 for his work on Chicago.

The nominations were announced this morning in London. Winners will be announced Sunday, February 13 at a ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden.
