Panasonic AG-3DA1 Full HD 3D Camcorder In Space/Photos

(Secaucus, New Jersey--July 15, 2011) A week ago, Panasonic announced that its AG-3DA1 Full HD 3D camcorder was headed to space to document the International Space Station on the final mission of the NASA Space Shuttle. This is the ultimate flight of the shuttle Atlantis, its 33rd flight, and the 135th mission of the Space Shuttle Program.

During the shuttle mission, NASA astronauts plan to use the lightweight 3DA1 to document the International Space Station in 3D. While at the International Space Station, the astronauts intend to conduct a number of scientific missions that they plan to capture with the 3DA1.
