(New York--October 3, 2011) Bicoastal/London-based Park Pictures’ directing team Terri Timely crafts a calendar with a pulse in a visual new :30 “Calendar” for NFL.com out of Grey, NY. The spot features a man in a rolling chair browsing NFL.com on his cell, tablet, desktop and laptop, gliding through each day in a life-sized calendar. The spot conveys how NFL.com can be a football fan’s home everyday of the season.
“Calendar” opens on a regular NFL.com calendar, the month of October pinned up. We tilt down to an open laptop where our hero checks scores on the site. With a kick to the couch, the man glides backwards in his chair through his living room, then into the next room, an office, where he glimpses NFL.com on his work computer. As he continues into a park, we cut wide to reveal the man is making his way through a life-sized calendar where each day occupies a different part of the man’s life: a subway commute, lunch at a diner. Browsing NFL.com on various devises throughout, the man lands on Saturday, where he and his friends watch NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access” on a TV. A super with accompanying voiceover appears, “Everything NFL, every day of the week,” followed by the NFL.com logo closing out the spot.
