(Los Angeles, California--October 24, 2011) CreativeCOW.net (Creative Communities of the World), the industry leading online peer-to-peer community for media production professionals working in film, broadcast, and related fields has brought three-time Emmy winner, Sean Mullen, on board as the company’s new Creative Director.
In his new capacity, Mullen will be redesigning the publication’s creative concept by year's end, and is currently working hand in hand with Publisher Ronald Lindeboom to overhaul Creative COW’s online user experience. This will include both front-end and back-end redesigns. Mullen has also been keenly involved in the branding and architecture of the Creative COW “StockYard™,” an online stock footage and audio market, that will be coming into public beta in October.
Mullen’s resume within the entertainment industry is lengthy, including winning three Emmy awards for For his visual effects and design work. He has also won several Telly and Addy awards. Sean has served as VFX Supervisor and Lead Compositor for a range of companies including Disney, HBO, Spelling Entertainment and others. His work in visual effects spans over 60 television credits and over 300 commercials and music videos. Mullen has leveraged that expertise into Rampant Design Tools, a company he created to provide animators, editors, designers and compositors with stock effects, textures, imagery and design templates.
"Sean is a visionary and expressive designer whose artistic instincts are already making him a strong part of rebuilding Creative COW for the future,” says Creative COW CEO, Ronald LIndeboom. “He is a delight to work with and has a great attitude, something which I place high value upon. He has come into the company and made himself right at home and the other members of the team are excited to have him here and greatly enjoy working with him."
"It's both an honor and a privilege to be working with the incredibly talented people at Creative COW,” said Sean Mullen. “I've read the forums and the magazine for years and I can't say enough about how much I admire the team and the community at the COW."
