(Paris, France--March 23, 2012) Technicolor (Euronext Paris: TCH) today announced the appointment of Fred Taieb as Director of its brand new audio dubbing studio in Saint-Cloud, near Paris.
His responsibilities within the Technicolor Group include development of Technicolor’s audio dubbing business in France as well as artistic direction of all client productions.
Fred Taieb, 54, is renowned worldwide. Self-taught, he has spent more than 25 years in the world of sound and film. He has worked on more than 500 films, including Shrek 1, The Lion King,Aladdin, Toy Story, Monster Inc., Hercules, Transformers 1 and 2, Fight Club, True Blood and many more.
He began his career as head of dubbing at Teletota in 1987 before joining Disney for seven years, where he was responsible for European versions.
Building on his prior experience, Taieb created Dubbing Brothers in 1988, where he first served as Director of Production for France, Italy, Germany and Spain before becoming Director of Creation and Technique for the company’s US subsidiary, based in Hollywood.
