(Dallas, Texas--April 24, 2012) It may be spring, but Dallas-based integrated marketing agency M/C/C still has reason to celebrate the holidays. On a winning streak, the agency picked up another prestigious award for its holiday stop motion video, Snow-motion, this time earning a Silver Telly Award – one of the most respected video production awards in the advertising industry.
The award-winning stop motion video served as the agency’s 2011 holiday e-card. Featuring an animated snowman and office supplies, the video has been widely popular among clients and industry peers, earning a bronze ADDY award earlier this year.
“The stop motion technique in our holiday card is one of the most fun elements we’ve ever experimented with,” said Todd Brashear, vice president, creative at M/C/C. “Our clients have had extremely high praise for M/C/C’s holiday video, so it’s exciting to see the industry echo those same sentiments.”
Each year the agency works hard to demonstrate a wide variety of its skills in its holiday greetings. Whether it’s an e-card or a traditional print mailer, M/C/C is known for sending its clients and friends “unexpected” season’s greetings. This time, it took the agency 632 Post-it® notes, 11 binder clips, six pencils, one stapler and one highlighter to spell out its message for the holidays.
“The Snow-motion video presented us with the opportunity to feature video production technology that’s innovative and creative,” said Mike Crawford, president of M/C/C. “Its success encourages us to continue to think outside of the box and create concepts for our clients that are award worthy.”
M/C/C award-winning work places it among the best videos in the film and production industry. This year, only seven to 10 percent of entrants were Silver Telly Award winners.
Dallas-based M/C/C provides marketing, advertising, public relations, Internet marketing, social marketing, video production and research for companies ranging from growing startups to global leaders. Several of M/C/C’s clients dominate their industries, including Texas Instruments, CapRock Communications, CommScope Enterprise Solutions and Chuck E. Cheese’s. The agency’s mantra, “living the unexpected,” has not only helped clients exceed their marketing goals, but has also consistently made M/C/C one of the top PR, social media and ad agencies in Dallas for 25 years.
