Nice, I'm looking forward to getting started!

If I bought the 5.5 upgrade after CS6 was announced, which came with free upgrade to CS6, where do I download it? Can I just download the trial version or do I need to wait for an email from Adobe?

After Effects CS6 does not use OpenCL. Premiere Pro CS6 does.

Here's the relevant excerpt from the list of what's new in Premiere Pro CS6:

"GPU processing (Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration) extended to use OpenCL on some systems: AMD Radeon HD 6750M and AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics card with 1GB VRAM in MacBook Pro computers running Mac OSX v10.7"

Here's how After Effects CS6 uses the GPU:

Does the demo have all the CODECS? Or just DV? Also does the demo let you use Encore? Those are really the only programs I use.

Thanks
Randy

The trial versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects contain all codecs that are in the full version. There are no differences between the trial version and the full version for Premiere Pro (except that the trial version expires, of course).

There is no trial version of Encore.

According to the page below, you should get an email "no later than May 25, 2012" IF you purchased CS5.5 from Adobe directly. I don't know the reason for the wait.
