MelroseMAC Taps Martin Vann As CEO

(Los Angeles, California--September 25, 2012) Technology re-seller and systems integration company, MelroseMAC, has tapped longtime sales and solutions executive Martin Vann as its new Chief Executive Officer. In addition to leading the operations of the MelroseMAC retail business, Vann will also oversee the recently launched technology solutions arm of the company, dubbed MelroseTEC. Vann was a key collaborator in the foundation of the new division.
As CEO, Vann is responsible for the daily operations of the entire company, creating and leading the execution of its long-term strategy and liaising with key clients.
Prior to joining the MelroseMAC, Vann was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Professional Services for Avid. In this role, he was responsible for developing the strategies and global execution for enterprise sales, channel and retail distribution as well services and client implementation programs across all video, audio and enterprise offerings. Prior to Avid, Vann held multiple positions at Autodesk focused on their Media and Entertainment division. During his five and a half years at Autodesk the M&E division more than doubled its revenue from $130M to over $263M. Vann began his career at IBM.
In addition to his business focus, Vann is also very active in both community and charity work, having helped to establish “Cure Autism Now” (now called Autism Speaks) in 1995. He is still active in multiple organizations supporting autism.
