(London, UK--October 26, 2012) At BVE North 2012, which takes place at Manchester Central on 13-14 November 2012, Sony will once again bring together a group of experienced industry experts to demonstrate how it is accelerating change in the media and broadcast industry, and how its products and technologies can cater for every budget and production requirement.
At this year’s Sony Experience Masterclass seminars, independent experts and Sony product specialists will pass on valuable insights into shooting and producing compelling content with Sony’s latest kit:
- Freelance camera operator Alister Chapman, a freelance cameraman and a Sony ICE (Independent Certified Expert) with over 20 years of experience in broadcast television and commercials, will examine Sony’s big sensor camcorders, looking at the EA50, FS100 and FS700 and how to tailor them to suit individual requirements;
- Fellow Sony ICE Neil Thompson has worked in engineering roles for the BBC and Sony, as well as in a freelance capacity, for over 25 years. He will present a straight forward guide to Sony’s high-end digital motion picture F65 camera and how it can be used for maximum quality HD projects, as well as giving a no-compromise route to the world of 4K and beyond;
- Peter Knowles, CVP, brings his 30 years of expertise with radio mics to present a technical look at the latest Sony Digital Radio Mics, and how to get the best sound in real world situations;
- In addition Sony’s own in-house specialists share their expertise: Claus Pfeifer discusses product innovations for live production, while David Young looks at high end production in 35mm.
