(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania--November 2, 2012) ShootersINC has added Jim Huie to its talent roster as Executive Producer. Huie brings more than 15 years of experience to ShootersINC, having run the production gamut from music videos to broadcast campaigns.
Huie specializes in broadcast commercial production, network promos and web-related advertising production. He has a long history of agency management working with entities such as JWT, McCann Erickson, Digitas Health, Red Tettemer + Partners, MarcUSA, Machinery, 22squared, Grey, Goodby Silverstein, Lev Lane, Campbell Ewald, Eric Mower, BG+W, and others.
Huie’s credits include campaigns for Comcast, Cablevision, Time Warner, US Navy, 3M, Brita, Dixie Cups, and V Tech Toys. His influence is also seen on projects for entities as varied as Shire Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Band Aid, Pennsylvania Lottery, United States Postal Service, Publix, and MSG network. Huie has worked on major brands such as General Motors, Sprite, Volkswagen, Snickers, Hanes, Secret, and 24 Hour Fitness. His past work also includes music videos starring Mary J. Blige, Madonna, Nas, Jay-Z, and others.
Huie is motivated by the growth he sees at ShootersINC due to its unique position. Considered one of the preeminent one-stop-shops for both production and post production on the east coast, Shooters is committed to building a production company component that will be integrated into that same methodology.
“ShootersINC is a company with momentum despite a down economy and a challenged industry in general,” says Huie. “People are being drawn here from industry-leading companies in big markets. That alone is proof that a company can be headquartered anywhere to be successful in this business today.”
The ShootersNYC and ShootersTV offshoots pave the way for what he sees as unlimited possibilities.
“The overall team can do more with less when the production and post production processes are married together as one unified resource,” says Huie. “At Shooters, I can serve agencies from New York with that streamlined packaged approach—highly creative teams with better production efficiencies and editorial— all in their backyard at ShootersNYC.”
Shooters’ team approach is to understand and integrate the entire process from script to screen. This is where Huie’s talents will truly shine. He is looking forward to leveraging his broadcast production experience in both long and short form projects as well as branded content at Shooters.
“Jim brings a breadth of diverse experience and national relationships in production communities. That, in itself, is a perfect fit as ShootersINC expands its production capabilities,” says ShootersINC President Ray Carballada. “As so much entertainment— from TV to web— is becoming more and more branded, Jim’s strengths complement what we’re already doing here. Jim and the team at ShootersINC are in lockstep on the creative possibilities that abound in producing traditional as well as hybrid content. “
Huie comes to ShootersINC as a graduate of Penn State University’s film and video program and began his career in New York City at Crossroads Films, The End, and its offshoot Material Edit. He left NYC to pursue a career at SBK Pictures in the Philadelphia area and was most recently Executive Producer at Accordion Films.
