(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania--January 29, 2013) MilkBoy The Studio, the internationally recognized premier recording studio, composed, performed and produced original music, as well as handled audio post production for the Century 21 broadcast campaign, which is airing during Super Bowl XLVII.

MilkBoy partners Jamie Lokoff and Tommy Joyner worked with Philadelphia agency Red Tettemer + Partners to establish the sound of the campaign that plays off of the positioning “Smarter. Bolder. Faster.”

Citing the bands The Black Keys and The Kills as influences, composer Lokoff explained the client wanted a cool and hip sound for the hero of the four individual spots— the Century 21 agent. Lokoff composed six music cues to run under the four spots and played keyboard while Joyner was the producer and lent performances on drums and guitar.

“We’re really excited about having a piece in the Super Bowl,” says Lokoff. “It was a total MilkBoy effort.” The team was inspired to create all sound in the pieces, including organ and background for the wedding sequence in the :30 spots. “We went with a bluesy, alt rock treatment. Something a little edgy,” Lokoff continued.

Century 21’s “Wedding” spot will air in the first commercial pod of the second half of Super Bowl XLVII. Three additional spots in that vein will air approximately eight times during the Super Bowl pre-game broadcast. MilkBoy Engineer Cody Cichowski mixed the spots.
